Before we are born, we attend a meeting with out Spirit Guides and decide what experiences we want have in our next incarnation. We plan the major episodes of our life and set up choices that we can make. But, after we are born we can't imagine that we ever chose to experience THIS.

Have you ever noticed that when it comes to your own life, it is hard to see something clearly, but it is crystal clear when you see it in another's life? This is something I learned from Terri Schiavo's life.

Let's go back 100 years or so. A large group of souls meet to decide a lifetime which is going to make a very large impact on the World. This lesson will concern end of life issues. A soul is needed to be the Pope during this lesson. Another soul is needed to play the role of a woman whose life will be sacrificed in a horrible way to help humanity learn this lesson. A beautiful soul volunteers to play this role. Another soul is needed to play the role of her husband who will be the instigator of this lesson. Another beautiful soul agrees to play this role, knowing that he will be hated and scorned. And so it goes as we each volunteered to play a specific role in this world play.

According to those who knew Terri, she was a lovely young woman who was very happy and tender hearted. In high school, Terri was fat and never had a single date. Her first date was in college with a man by the name of Michael. It was love at first sight and he was the first man to ever kiss Terri. They were married and Terri lost a lot of weight. One night Terri collapsed under mysterious circumstances and the oxygen was cut off to her brain causing massive brain damage. Several years after this accident, Michael decided that Terri should be allowed to die by dehydration and starvation. He started a lawsuit which spanned many years for the permission to do so. Finally, he succeeded and Terri was starved and dehydrated before the whole world over a period of 13 days.

During this time, the Pope became seriously ill requiring that he be on a ventilator for a short time. He also needed a feeding tube to be fed and hydrated while Terri was being starved and dehydrated. After Terri died, the Pope soon followed leaving humanity to process this important lesson that they had co-created.

In looking at this scenario, it becomes clear how we stay on track in our plans. Terri was fat when she was young which prevented her from having any dates. This was her soul's was of making sure that she was not drawn off course by another man. If she had been as pretty then as she was later, she may have married a different man and this plan for humanity would not have occurred. So, her soul chose to be fat to keep itself on track.

I am sure Terri said many times that she would not have chosen to live this. She would not have chosen to experience the things she did. I know her family feel they would never have chosen to experience something so horrible.

But the truth is, we all chose to have these experiences.

I can see now how this has played in my own life. My soul and my children's souls chose that their father would be a particular man. I was not happy with him, but was married to him for 11 years before Samantha was born. I could have left him during those years, but my soul chose to experience horrible panic attacks and insecurities to keep me with him. Once my children were born, my soul allowed me to start healing. Twenty-five years later, I finally left him and met my life partner.

How many times through these years have I said that I would not have chosen to experience this. I would not have chosen to be in a miserable marriage for 25 years. I definitely would not have chosen to have a disabled, critically ill daughter. But the truth is, I did choose all these things.

So, the next time you hear yourself say you never would have chose to experience this, remember this lesson that Terri has so lovingly chosen to help us learn.

On May 2nd, the House Judiciary Committee passed an antispyware bill. This bill was first introduced to the House in 2004 and passed in 2005. But, both times it failed to make it through the Senate. The current version of the bill, H.R. 964 will next be voted on by the House. I think everyone realizes spyware is a problem on the Internet. But there are many facets of the new bill that have companies and individuals concerned.

Summary of H.R. 964:

H.R. 964 would make it unlawful for any person who is not an authorized user or owner of a protected computer to engage in unfair or deceptive practices in connection with specified conduct, including: 1. taking unsolicited control of the computer; 2. modifying computer settings; 3. collecting personally identifiable information; 4. inducing the computer owner to disclose personally identifiable information; 5. inducing the unsolicited installation of computer software; and 6. removing or disabling a legitimate security, antivirus or antispyware program on the computer.

The bill also makes it unlawful for a person to: 1. transmit to a protected computer any information collection program, unless such program provides notice before execution of any of the programs collection functions; or 2. execute any collection information program installed on a protected computer unless, before execution, the user has consented to such exception. The act provides an exception for Web pages visited within a particular websites when the information collected is sent only to the provider of the website accessed.

Sounds great doesnt it? But, not everyone is impressed by this proposed legislation. The following is a list of concerns that critics of H.R. 964 have addressed:

1.It will not protect Internet users against spyware created in any country outside of the United States. There is no similar legislation pending in the United Kingdom and it would be very difficult and expensive for the United States to thwart the spyware practices of other countries violating this act.
2.Though H.R. 964 calls for stricter enforcement of spyware laws, there is no new money allocated by the bill to support the added enforcement.
3.Section 6 of the bill calls for a Federal Preemption which means this federal law would hold sway over any state laws regarding spyware. This is particularly disappointing, as many states have stricter laws regarding spyware than the ones proposed by this legislation.
4.The spyware act omits legislation regarding cookie technology. Cookies are often used to track and collect personal information, but legislators have purposely avoided cookie legislation with this bill, calling cookies a Pandoras Box.
5.The law will still allow any vendor you do business with on your computer to utilize any of the deceptive practices the bill prohibits and load spyware on your computer.
6.The law also makes exceptions and specifically protects computer manufacturers from any liability for spyware they load on your computer before you buy.
7.The bill states that no person other than the Attorney General of a State may bring a civil action under the law. This may be the most disturbing aspect of the bill, as it eliminates the ability of individuals to bring spyware suits against companies who have victimized them. If this act is passed, it will be required that all individuals who believe theyve been victimized by spyware, convince the FTC or state attorney general to take their case.

Spyware on the Internet is increasingly becoming a nuisance to businesses and individuals and predictably, the Federal Government is trying to address these concerns through legislation. In 2003, the government also enacted legislation regarding spam on the Internet. This has become known as the Canned Spam Act because it did virtually nothing to stop spam in the United States. Spam has actually increased each year since the spam act was introduced and is expected to continue this upward trend. Hopefully, the Spy Act will be more successful in stopping spyware. But, many industry experts have strong doubts about the new bill.

Super 14 Rugby is the leading competition for teams from the states and provinces of Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.

It would be fair to say that New Zealand teams have dominated the super 14, particularly the Canterbury Crusaders although other New Zealand teams have done well with many making the finals. The other main success has been the ACT Brumbies. The real disappointments of the series have been the Queensland Reds and the New South Wales Waratahs who despite being loaded with talent continue to under perform. Both teams will be looking to change that around this season. However the surprise Australian team and dark horse of the tournament this year may be the Western Force playing out of Perth, W.A. Last year they often came close but didn't have the experience to pull it out in the tight situations. I predict this year will be a very different story.

South African teams have proved very strong in South Africa, but to be successful they once again need to win games away from home.

The 14 teams are

Auckland Blues (Always strong, has the potential to beat any team on their day, time will tell if they can win enough games to make the finals, but if they do they are a chance to win the comp. - previous 3 times final winners (super 12) but recent years have not made the grade.)

ACT Brumbies (Full of class, however one wonders whether their Australian dominance is on the wane, twice previous winners, twice lost to Canterbury in the final, however last two years failed to make the finals - I predict they will fail again this year)

The Bulls (Based in Pretoria, in past years they have made the finals and must be considered a chance to make it again, but unlikely to have the class to win the comp.)

Central Cheetahs (Recent S.A. addition, made 10th, will do better this year but won't make the finals)

Waikato Chiefs (Traditional N.Z. rugby is on display whenever the chiefs play, hard, grinding, enjoy great support at home, only made the semi-finals once, won't make it this year but will provide some entertaining games).

Canterbury Crusaders (The most successful franchise in the competition. Won the competition six times, final two other times, dominant. This year will be no different. Any team that wants to win the competition will have to beat the Crusaders to do it).

Western Force (First year in competition last year, show good signs but never delivered. This year they could be the dark horse. May make the finals but lack of finals experience will stop them going further. Have great home ground support which should make them hard to beat at home).

Otago Highlanders (never won the competition and not going to change this year. However will destroy some other teams hopes in their famous house of pain in Carisbrook, Dunedin)

Hurricanes (Based in Wellington, N.Z., lost to the Crusaders in last years final. Will be doing well to make the finals this year but a possibility).

Lions (Name change from the cats will not change the fortunes for this Johannesburg based team, will not make the finals).

Queensland Reds (Never been successful, often put the blame on injuries to key players. Simply need to toughen the hell up if they are any chance of winning the competition. Have the talent, but not the heart).

Natal Sharks (Based in Durban and one of the better performing South African teams. Just missed out on the finals last year. Predict they could make the finals this year).

Western Stormers (Based out of Cape Town, nothing to write home about here. Will win a couple at home but thats about it).

NSW Waratahs (Based out of Sydney. Has made finals on numerous occasions but failed to lift the trophy, could this year be different?)

This is a quick look of Super 14 from a personal review of 2007. The end of the competition will see if I was right or wrong. Either way it will be fun watching.

Your ex could have viewed your myspace profile 44 times last week.

Your manager could be viewing your profile on a daily basis.

You could have some crazy cyberstalker that you don't know about.

Unfortunately you may never know, because Myspace doesn't allow you to see who viewed your page. That was until a little site popped up a while ago by the name of Profilesnoop.com.

Profilesnoop.com's motto is "Snoop on them while they snoop on you". How many of us haven't secretly viewed the pages of our exes, enemies, old high school crushes, co-workers, etc.? We all do it.

Profilesnoop.com provided you with a code to input into your myspace profile. This code would track all visitors that viewed your site, literally snapping a photo of them When you signed on your profilesnoop.com account, it had all that information neatly summarized and ready for you to view.

I was on the of the lucky ones who actually got to use it before it was shut down by Myspace. For about a week, I had this wonderful little tool on my profile. It was just a bit of code, entered in the "Who I'd like to meet" section, not visible to anyone but myself.

It captured photos of anyone who viewed my profile, along with the date, time and IP address. I would automatically be re-directed to a person's mypsace profile by clicking on their photo. Some were my own friends, others were a huge surprise. I found out that I was getting regular views from the last guy I dated and his on-again/off-again girlfriend. Who knew?

Of course, it was too good to last. Only five days after I registered with the site, the forums were buzzing with talk about the code being stripped from their profiles, along with all the text and photos in their "Who I'd like to meet" section. Apparently, the code is in violation of myspace's privacy policy.

By the next day, it was gone from my profile as well. I was sad to see it go. But it brings me to this question, is it right for Myspace to block me from being able to know who visits my profile?

I'm sure it won't be long before profilesnoop.com manages to find a way to get back up and running or all the other copy-cat sites start popping up. And when they do, I'll be there... ready to sign up.

Of course, if we do manage to find a way to see who's viewing our MySpace profiles, this means that others will know that we are viewing theirs. Would this damper our MySpace experience by making us think twice before "cyber-stalking" someone? Maybe. But then again, maybe not.

Sellers with problems love it when an offer to purchase says "close in 10-14 days."

How to Complete a Fast Sale

Find an experienced lender and get yourself not only "pre-qualified," but also "pre-approved." Taking that second step assures worried sellers that you already have your loan in place for their property, and this puts you well ahead of other potential buyers.

Use a trusted closing or escrow agent who knows what they're doing; one not over-worked. Even in todays busy market, you can find an officer who can help you close in two weeks, when your financing is prearranged.

With the 2008 presidential primaries well over a year away, the virtually unknown John Cox of Illinois is quietly moving through the political circles of New Hampshire, Iowa and South Carolina in an effort to generate possible support in his long shot campaign for the White House. Accompanying his efforts is his book, Politic$, Inc.: Principle, Not Profit: Why We Need Statesmen, Not Career Politicians, which outlines his thoughts on career politicians who haunt the halls of Congress, while also laying out his personal philosophy of conservatism.

John Cox http://www.cox2008.com is a 50-year old Chicagoland businessman, tax attorney, accountant, school board president, and ex-Democrat who believes that the time is right for a true political outsider to take control of the Executive branch, two decades after his much-admired President Reagan bid Washington farewell. Mr. Cox, unsuccessful in his attempts for office in Congress in 2000 and the Senate in 2002, believes that his moment has finally arrived.

In Politic$, Inc., Cox argues that the current political model is broken, due to professional politicians who are more concerned with personal advancement and financial gain than the national interests. Throughout the book, the Chicago businessman draws on his experience in having dealt daily with the burdensome tax code, bureaucrats who forget whom they work for, and legislators who have turned their office into personal fiefdoms.

His 224-page paperback book offers his solutions in a straightforward style that will strike a chord with conservatives frustrated by the runaway spending of a Republican-held Congress and White House. His message should also grip those readers who have been equally appalled at the reflexive stance that Republican House Speaker Dennis Hastert recently took in defense of Democrat Rep. William Jefferson of Louisiana, and the political hypocrisy of people like Republican Senators Arlen Specter and John McCain.

Author Cox asserts in Politic$, Inc. that free-market principles -- not reliance on government -- should be used to combat the looming problems of Social Security, health care and the deteriorating American educational system. Government, Cox continues, is a hindrance to progress, made all the more so by professional politicians who choose to ignore difficult and sometimes distasteful solutions in lieu of political compromise, thus wasting the opportunity to resolve our countrys most important issues.

Politic$, Inc. will have appeal for an electorate starving for true conservative leadership. Cox concludes in his missive that term limits are necessary because legislators have repeatedly shown themselves incapable of political restraint. The advantages of incumbency are strengthened by the compromising examples of those already in office. He points to senatorial examples such John McCain and Alan Specter.

John Cox, whose father abandoned his infant son and mother, is unconditionally opposed to abortion on demand and against amnesty for illegal aliens. The author advocates a missile defense system to stay steps ahead of rogue nations who might pursue nuclear weapons. He is also committed to implementing a free-market blueprint for health care costs, education, and the environment, that is fair and responsible -- meaning minimal government interference.

Politic$, Inc. is not a flawless recitation of solutions to the nations ills. Much of Mr. Coxs proposals and solutions depend not only on a more responsible type of public servant, but also on a more responsible electorate. Throwing out career politicians such as Senator Specter, for instance, would require political courage -- courage to back true conservatives, at the risk, he maintains, of temporarily putting Democrats in office. (Ironically, it can be argued that Specters reelection did put a Democrat in office).

Though lacking real political exposure, Cox does have the advantage of having spent his entire professional life in business, wrestling with government regulations and the rules and the red tape of bureaucrats. Not holding office, he is also beholden to no group. He has earned his fortune on his own, a self-made man. If his book resonates with readers as brightly as his ambition, Politic$, Inc.: Principle, Not Profit: Why We Need Statesmen, Not Career Politicians, might be his ticket to political office.
