This problem generally comes from services like myspace and other places where children and teens tend to gather online. It's easier and faster now to spread harmful rumors about other youngsters on the Internet that it ever was on the phone.

So what is the answer to all of this? Of course you aren't going to be able to be there physically at all times to monitor everything that is done online. But there is a way that you can make sure that nothing inappropriate is being done, and to monitor internet activity from a distance. By using special internet spy software that runs hidden in the background you are able to log everything that your child does online including chat sessions, keystroke recording and password logging. These programs are rather controversial in nature but they do help to keep your loved ones safe from danger online if they are used in the way in which they were intended.

Betting on sports is perhaps as old as the various games themselves. Millions of people have made huge money out of betting on sports. Possibly no game is left virgin of betting. Hockey

After the Islanders Chris Simons vicious and un-called for attack on the Rangers Ryan Hollweg, members of the sports media decided that it was time for pro-hockey to get rid of fighting. Many of these experts believe that because hockey allows players to fight, it leads to these events and thus creates a low in popularity. It has no appeal to the soccer moms. In order to save hockeys ever decreasing popularity, they have to clean up their act.

Fighting is engrained in the game and should never be removed, as many of these self-righteous men and women have suggested doing. Hockey polices itself through fighting. The league only steps in when there is an extreme case, such as the Simon incident. Agitators, head-cases, and guys out to injure are taken care of on the ice. The other major sports have gotten away from the philosophy of policing itself on the field of play. In my opinion, they have some what suffered for it in the form of prima-donnas. Do you think Terrell Owens would get away with his antics against Dick Butkis? Barry Bonds would need a lot more than just his elbow guard had he played in the days before Public Relations Departments. Kenny Rogers pine tar would have taken care of on the next Tigers at bat, or a St. Louis hard charge to first when Rogers had to cover. The problem with hockey and its appeal has nothing to do fighting or aggression or any of that ire. Hockeys appeal is low becauseits hockey. The memo informing Commisioner Bettman of this fact must still be sitting on his desk.

The best hockey can place in the spectrum of popularity is 3rd out of the 4 major pro-sports. Maybe 2nd. And that is a HUGE maybe. Planets must align and deals with Satan must be made for it to place that high. Unfortunately for hockey fans, the NHL thinks it can be number one. The NHL is like that one friend weve all hung out with. Theyre that guy who isnt really all that attractive. Sure when they dress up for a wedding or fancy function, they look okay at best. But on Friday nights, when you go out, they really arent the best catch. But these people think theyre Derek Jeter. Theyve decided to put on some expensive threads and douse themselves in fragrances. Of course, this ploy doesnt hide their weight/acne problem, sweating issues, love of swords, or abilities in conversational Klingon. Theyve set their standards way too high. When a girl of equal merit shall we say starts to hit on them, they shy away, roll their eyes, or worse, they act insulted. Theyre saving themselves for the hotties. Weve all known these people. And weve always been frustrated as hell with them. Just go home with the fat chick! Shes in your league! I cant stand you complaining all the time about not getting laid! This is hockey. It has decided to set too lofty goals. It wants to beat baseball in American sports. It thinks it can beat out football. That day will only come when the Canadian Mounties patrol the streets of Manhattan. Hockey has decided to go after the sexy ladies, as opposed to ignoring the most abused fat chick in the history of civilization, Mother Nature. Its a geographically limited sport. Sure theres roller hockey, but the speed is different. The friction between rubber wheels and pavement is too great to really get the feel of blades on ice. I grew up in central NY, a place where it snows until May. There is nothing more fun than playing ice hockey out doors. In my mind, and many others, it trumps touch football or sweaty basketball courts. Do you know who those many others are? People raised in cold climates who have experienced the same thing. Nobody in Tampa Bay, or Atlanta, or Nashville have any idea what Im talking about. But people in Canada, Buffalo, Minnesota, New England and Northern Illinois understand.

Hockeys biggest problem right now is that it is too big. It expanded way to fast. It thought it could go for the hotties. Some of their best players are playing in the wrong markets. I have friends who are very active sports fans. They follow all the majors, and some college sports, fanatically but every so often they say, Theres an NHL team in Atlanta? Hockey has decided to expand in warm weather climates and worse yet, markets where pro-sports fans arent as fanatical. Most southern and mid-western fans love College sports, specifically Football. They are loyal and rabid fans of these sports, which is fantastic. But they cannot support a major league team that competes on a surface that cannot be found anywhere without paying for a skate rental.

Lets cut the number of teams. Do it Bettman. Cut your loses and start over. Cut out 10 teams. Youve already lost so much credibility with your fan base. It will be the best thing to do ever. You broke it, now fix it.

Im not the first person to suggest this move. But here is my lay out of how the league should look. Now, not all of these teams that I am keeping are cold climate markets. I took into account market size/fan base activity, and hockey tradition. Hockey traditions seem to escape Mr. Bettman. To him, old school is circa 1998.

Here is the layout. I am also using the old names of the divisions and conferences. (Imagine if Selig even proposed getting rid of the National League and American League!) Please hockey fans, try to hold back the tears as I show these names and layouts.

Prince of Wales Conference Patrick Division: New York Rangers New York Islanders New Jersey Devils Philadelphia Flyers Pittsburgh Penguins

Adams Division: Buffalo Sabres Ottawa Senators Montreal Canadians Toronto Maple Leafs Boston Bruins

No Tampa Bays. No Carolinas. No Atlantas. No Nashvilles. (Yes, I have teams in LA and Dallas. But LA is a huge market that has proven that it can sustain a team since the late 60s, thanks to a guy named Gretzky. Dallas is a Stanley Cup winner, a former cold climate team and has a market that can support most pro-sports teams. The fact that their team name is reminiscent of the symbol of Dallas, and pro-footballs, most recognizable franchise doesnt hurt.)

This is how the NHL should look. Imagine giving all the talent that is wasting away to fans who know that icing is not something on top of a cake. The caliber of play would be tremendous. It would be the best of the best. Put the minor league teams in those other markets. Its not like you need a hometown team to root for. Think of all the Chicago Bulls fans from 10-15 years ago. Think of the people who follow Manchester United, and they play across an ocean! Sidney Crosby is going to get fans. Boston fans are passionate and are spread through out the globe. Dont believe me? Watch an As/Red Sox game played in Oakland. Sure, the Bruins arent the Sox, but if the Bruins returned to their past glories, youd see a lot of B jerseys all over North America. Put Alex Ovechkin in a market with some love of the sport or better yet, media, and people will take note.

Of course theres the playoffs. Heres my suggestions. A) six teams from each Conference or B) seven with the best record getting a first round bye. They have first round byes in football. Sure upsets are fun, but you want to see the best teams win. Choice B would also include a 5 game first round series. Short series always produce an upset or two for those who love underdogs. This also makes the whole play-off season shorter. Hockey in June? Did this ever make sense?

Of course, this may never work out. This is just a fans dream. Sure, I have an East Coast bias. But I also have a hockey fans bias. This is my imaginary perfect hockey world. This is what I think of on a slow and crowded train. I think of my child hood, skating on the frozen pond behind my parents barn. Thinking about a violent but amazingly graceful sport. This is how the sport should look, instead of the 30 team, mediocre-fest of Bettmans NHL. A man who just wont go home with the fat chick.

Traveling in the United States and life in general changed dramatically after the cowardly terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. A nation of people who always felt safe and secure against any type of outside threat, and a nation of travelers who never gave a second thought to their mode of transportation are now weary about what to expect next. RV travel, already at an all time high, is more appealing since the tragic events of 9/11. Recognized travel authority and former President of RVIA, Mr. David J. Humphreys had this to say, "Families want to escape to America's outdoors in these uncertain times, spend quality time together, and avoid hassles associated with flyingall long-term trends likely to sustain continued RV market growth."

U.S. ownership of RVs has reached record levels, reveals a 2005 University of Michigan study commissioned by Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA). Nearly one in 12 U.S. vehicle-owning households now owns an RV. That's nearly 8 million householdsa 15 percent increase during 2001-2005 and a 58 percent gain during 1980-2005. The study also stated demographic trends favor substantial RV market growth. As baby boomers enter their prime RV buying years over the next decade, the number of RV-owning households is projected to rise to nearly 8 million in 2010, a gain of 15 percent, outpacing overall U.S. household growth of 10 percent. Other contributing factors to RV market growth are low interest rates, long term financing and the lure of the great outdoors. RVs can be financed for periods of 10, 15 and in some cases even 20 years, resulting in low monthly payments and tax deductible interest. RV vacations are more affordable than travel by personal car, commercial airline or cruise ship, according to vacation cost-comparison studies by PKF Consulting. Even factoring in RV ownership costs, and considering resulting tax benefits, a family of four can spend up to 70 percent less when traveling by RV.

What exactly is an RV? RVIA describes an RV as a vehicle that combines transportation and temporary living quarters for travel, recreation and camping. RVs come in many different types, sizes and price ranges. Some are very basic starting around $ 4,500 providing sleeping arrangements and cooking facilities. On the other end of the spectrum there are $1,000,000 plus luxury land yachts on wheels.

RVs are categorized as either motorized or towable. Motorized RVs are built on a vehicle chassis and powered by either a gasoline or diesel engine. There are three classifications for motorized RVs, type A, B, and C. Type A motor homes are the largest of the three ranging from 25 to 45 feet. They are the ones you see that look similar to a bus, and depending on the price they can be equipped with features like washers and dryers, multiple slide out rooms, satellite dishes, home entertainment systems and much more. Type B motor homes are the smallest of the three ranging from 16 to 20 feet. They are conversion vans that have been modified and equipped with all of the comforts and amenities found in other RVs in a compact size. Type C motor homes also referred to as mini-motor homes are built on a cutaway van chassis and range in size from 20 to 31 feet.

Towable RVs are towed behind a vehicle then disconnected and set up when you arrive at your destination. This allows you the benefit of using the tow vehicle to make a trip to the store, or go sight seeing while you are camping. Towable RVs include folding camping trailers, truck campers, travel trailers and 5th wheel travel trailers. Folding camping trailers, often referred to as pop-ups, are the least expensive RV and the lightest in weight. Some pop-ups offer the basic essentials while others come equipped with features like a water heater, bathroom, furnace and refrigerator. When set up they can range in size from 15 to 24 feet. Truck campers are campers loaded onto the bed of a pickup truck. This makes for a very versatile RV that can access back roads and remote areas other RVs can't get to. Travel Trailers are a popular choice among RVers because of the wide array of floor plans available. Whether its for two people or eight you can find a model that will suit your needs. They range in size from 15 to 35 feet and offer all the comforts of home. Fifth wheel travel trailers are the ones you see that extend over the bed of the pickup or custom tow vehicle. Because of their bi-level design 5th wheels offer the most living space of any towable RV and are often times the choice for full-timing RVers. They range in size from 21 to 40 feet.

Traveling by RV makes even more sense when you take into account there are over 16,000 campgrounds, both public and private, for RVers to use in the United States. We also have 367 national parks that offer over 400 campgrounds with 29,000 campsites and our 156 national forests offer more than 4,000 campgrounds. We all know that its dangerous to use the same password for more than one program. If you sign up for a program run by someone of low moral fibre, what is to stop them running through various programs with your username and password to see what they can access?

But of course remembering all the different passwords can be a headache. And writing them down somewhere isnt a great deal safer than using the same password again and again.

You can buy software that stores the passwords for you, but do you really want to pay money for another piece of software that performs a solitary function?

Try this simple, two-step, technique that lets you generate an infinite number of passwords, without having to remember any of them.

Step One: Choose a 4-6 letter word or number sequence that you can remember easily. Needless to say, dont reveal this to anyone. For the purpose of this demonstration, Ill choose the word "cash"

Step Two: Apply this secret word or number sequence to the name of the program you are setting up the password for.

To accomplish this, invent a couple of easy to remember rules.

Rule 1: Decide which part of the program name you are going to use. It could be the whole name, the first 6 letters of the name, the last 8 letters of the name. Its totally up to you, be as creative as you like.

eg For the program TrafficSwarm, I might choose the first 8 letters of the name. This give me: "traffics"

Rule 2: Take the portion of the program name you have selected and merge it with your secret word or number sequence to create a unique password. Again, be as creative as you can with this rule. You could replace every second letter, every third letter, every vowel or every consonant.

eg If I replace every second letter of "traffics" with my secret word "cash", I get " t c a a f s c h "

or

- If I replace every vowel of "traffics" with my secret word "cash", I get " t r c f f a c s ". The "s" and the "h" are not used as "traffics" has only two vowels, but some words will use all four letters of "cash". Some words might have more than four vowels, in which case just start back at the beginning with "c" and "a" and so on

You dont have to worry about making your rules overly complex. Even the best code-breakers would need to see several of your passwords before they could start to guess what you rules are.

As long as you keep your rules safe and sound, your password is secure. But the real beauty of this system, is that you dont have to remember the passwords you create. You ONLY have to remember the rules.

When you log into the program the next time, just apply your rules to the program name, and you can work out what password you generated. Once you have been using the rules for a while, youll generate the password in your head, without even having to pause.

Dont worry if it seems a little complicated at first. Read this article through a couple more times and then try this technique with just a couple of programs. Once you are happy with it, all thats left to do is to start working your way through existing programs and update your passwords. Its time consuming, but for peace of mind youll be glad you did.

5. Personalize your experience. Normal televisions have fixed channels which depend on the local stations or the cable operators. Internet television gives you the opportunity to bookmark your favorite stations so you can get back to them quickly without having to flick through everything else available. There is usually the option of viewing in either full screen mode or in a smaller window enabling you to get on with other things on your computer while watching.

Major Disruptions

The decision to divorce causes major changes in the lives of all family members. Some upheaval is inevitable. The main trouble areas are:

1.Financial: Money becomes a huge problem for most people. The cost of a divorce is extremely high, and two households cost more than one.

2.Career: Being less focused at work and spending time away from the job for divorce-related appointments takes its toll.

3.Logistics: Running your home is more difficult because you no longer have a partner to help with daily chores.

4.Emotional: Most people have periods of depression, sadness, anger, and fatigue.

Lots of Feelings

People who are experiencing the breakup of their marriage can expect to have a wide variety of feelings. Some call it the crazy time and there is even a book about divorce with this title. The following complaints are common:

Poor concentration

Nightmares

Sleep problems

Fatigue

Mood swings

Divorce profoundly affects children. In Surviving the Breakup, author Judith Wallerstein describes the experience of 60 divorcing families. She outlines the following key issues for children of divorcing families:

Fear: Divorce is frightening to children, and they often respond with feelings of anxiety. Children feel more vulnerable after a divorce because their world has become less reliable.

Fear of abandonment: One-third of the children in Wallersteins study feared that their mother would abandon them.

Confusion: The children in divorcing families become confused about their relationships with their parents. They see their parents relationship fall apart and sometimes conclude that their own relationship with one or both parents could dissolve, as well.

Sadness and yearning: More than half of the children in the Wallerstein study were openly tearful and sad in response to the losses they experienced. Two-thirds expressed yearning, for example: We need a daddy. We dont have a daddy.

Worry: In Wallersteins study, many children expressed concern about one or both of their parents ability to cope with their lives. They wondered if their parents were emotionally stable and able to make it on their own. Over half of the children expressed deep worries about their mothers. They witnessed their mothers mood swings and emotional reactions to the events in the family. Some children worried about suicide and accidents.

Feeling rejected: Many children who experience a parent moving out of the home feel rejected by the parent. The parent is usually preoccupied with problems and pays less attention to the child than in the past. Many children take this personally and feel rejected and unlovable.

Loneliness: Since both parents are preoccupied with their problems during the divorce process, they are less able to fulfill their parenting roles with their children. The children may feel like their parents are slipping away from them. If the father has moved away and the mother has gone off to work, the children often feel profound loneliness.

Divided loyalties: The children may (accurately) perceive that the parents are in a battle with each other. The children feel pulled in both directions and may resolve the dilemma by siding with one parent against another.

Anger: Children in divorcing families experience more aggression and anger. It is often directed toward the parents, expressed in tantrums, irritability, resentment, and verbal attacks. Many children see the divorce as a selfish act and feel very resentful about the resulting destruction of their lives.

More than one-third of the children in Judith Wallersteins study showed acute depressive symptoms such as sleeplessness, restlessness, difficulty in concentrating, deep sighing, feelings of emptiness, compulsive overeating, and various somatic complaints.

The symptoms that many children may have during the divorce process either moderate or disappear within 18 months after the breakup. Of the symptoms that remain, the most common are:

2.Depression was diagnosed in 25% of the children and adolescents. The symptoms of depression in children include:
